A House, Built to a Standard, with Someone Already Running It

Necessity Housing is a registered SDA provider. We design and build the homes, enrol them, and manage the tenancy, so what you own is a property, not a business you have to learn.

Two Complete Homes on One Title

Our standard build is two independent residences on a single title, each with its own entry, kitchen and living space. It is the model the rest of this site explains in detail.

Built to the NDIS Design Standard

Robust, High Physical Support, Fully Accessible or Improved Liveability, certified at the final-as-built stage by an accredited SDA assessor.

We Manage the Tenancy, Not You

Necessity Housing is the registered provider and the participant's landlord. Enrolment, compliance and the day-to-day are ours.

A Portfolio Already Running

Before you go further

What We Will Not Tell You on a Web Page

  • Any figure worth having depends on the design category, the location and the participants a home is enrolled for. A number on a web page would be a guess dressed up as a fact.
  • SDA payments come from the NDIS and the rules change. We will tell you what the current framework does, and where it is under review, rather than pretend it is fixed.
  • Not every site suits SDA. If yours does not, we would rather say so early than take you through a process that ends the same way.
